Learn core salon subjects such as lash and brow treatments, cosmetic tanning, makeup and mani pedis, and then choose from elective subjects such as eyelash extensions and intimate waxing.
This course has been designed for those wanting to develop skills and knowledge to understand how the beauty industry operates and ensure graduates are salon ready upon completion.

Students can chose between two streams, a specialisation in Beauty services for those who want to continue their career in the beauty services industry. And a specialisation in Makeup for students wanting to specialise in Makeup and becoming a makeup artist.
The Beauty Services specialisation is providing a pathway into our Diploma of Beauty Therapy. The Makeup specialisation is providing a pathway into our Diploma of Cinemagraphic Makeup and Diploma of Screen and Media.

All learning materials and resources will be provided, this includes a uniform and a professional makeup brush kit.
This qualification consists of 15 units of competency. These units have been selected in consultation with industry and in accordance with the Training Package rules of this qualification. Students have the choice of electives by selecting either the Beauty stream or Makeup stream depending on where their interests are.

The Australian Academy of Australian Makeup continues to support students after their studies are complete. Through the AACM Alumni Network we provide ongoing opportunities for work experience, employment and networking. Our trainers also continue to mentor past students.
The Certificate III in Beauty Services is for students aiming to enter the beauty services industry and is funded by the Queensland Governments under the Certificate III Guarantee program available for eligible applicants.
- Are 15 years or older and no longer in school
- Living in Queensland full time
- Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with the necessary visa or work permits
- And don't currently have (or are enrolled in) a certificate 3 or higher level qualification.
Student eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee program will received funding of $2,232 as non-consessional student and you will pay a student co-contribution fee of only $4,468.
Students eligible for concessional funding will receive $2,976 and will pay a student co-contribution fee of only $3,724. You are eligible for the concession price of a course if you are eligible for subsidised training, and are listed on an Australian Government Low Income Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you hold a Department of Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Concession Card, or if you have a disability.
The student co-contribution fee can be paid directly to AACM using one of our weekly, fortnightly or monthly payment plan options. Our campus staff can talk you through the available options. Please refer to our course fee, withdrawal and refund policy in our policy section.
