Students completing this course can become self employed as junior beauty therapists specialising in waxing, tinting, manicure, pedicure and makeup, or as specialists in wedding and formal makeup. Students completing this course will also be able to perform routine salon functions, communicate with customers, work in a retail environment, demonstrate skin care products and design and apply makeup in both general and specialist situations, including makeup for photography.

Successful graduates from the Certificate III in Beauty Services course can become self employed as junior beauty therapists specialising in waxing, tinting, manicure, pedicure and makeup, or as specialists in wedding and formal makeup. In addition, successful completion of this course leads to exciting career possibilities in the makeup and cosmetic industry.

Students must complete all of the 11 core units listed below, and the four (4) elective units to achieve the Certificate III in Beauty Services qualification. Please note that the Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup has the right to change or alter course hours and subject units without notice.

There are no general entry requirements for this qualification, and you may enrol in this course at any time and begin studying shortly after enrolment.

Full Time: 6 Months (2 Days per week 9-5pm)

Part Time: 12 Months (1 Day per week 9-5pm or 2 Nights per week 6-9pm)

Students break for the scheduled public school holidays.
